CLINIAL Inc. (Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Takaaki Mizuno) has signed an outsourcing agreement with the National Cancer Center Japan (Chuo-ku, Tokyo; hereafter “the National Cancer Center”) for clinical-trial support in oncology.
Under this agreement, CLINIAL will support clinical-trial operations at the National Cancer Center from the data side, drawing on its expertise in structuring and visualizing cancer-care data and in identifying and screening candidate patients. Specifically, the parties are considering ways to make the identification of potential trial-eligible patients more efficient, and to develop an information foundation that links clinical-trial data with routine clinical-care data.
In addition to the joint research ongoing since 2023, this clinical-trial support agreement will help improve the quality and speed of oncology clinical trials and advance the process of delivering new treatment options to patients.
