It is reported that even standard treatments — the most advanced therapies within insured care — are appropriately delivered to less than half of eligible patients, not to mention cutting-edge therapies that lie outside the insurance scheme such as clinical trials*1*2. This situation must be gradually improved through accumulating system-level enhancements within hospitals.
In recent years, the Japanese government has launched standardization initiatives for healthcare data and is accelerating medical DX and data utilization. For hospitals, data standardization and visualization are becoming unavoidable challenges.
