Bringing new medicines
to everyone
CLINIAL drives the visualization and utilization of healthcare data through engineering.
Delivering advanced healthcare
to everyone
Of the new medicines developed worldwide each year, less than 30% become available in Japan*.
Unless clinical trials are run at hospitals and the latest drugs are approved for use, patients cannot receive the most advanced treatments. Japan has long struggled with this problem, known as “drug loss”—a systemic issue that drastically delays patient access to unapproved innovative drugs.
One root cause is that the systems for using electronic health record (EHR) and clinical trial data are not sufficiently mature in Japan, so essential information does not reach the people who need it.
As a result, patients cannot enroll in clinical trials matched to their condition, and medical institutions and pharmaceutical companies cannot make decisions based on real-world data.
CLINIAL exists to solve this structural problem.
By combining deep expertise in clinical trials and oncology with IT engineering, we accelerate the visualization of healthcare data and help deliver appropriate care to more people.
